Parking is located in the gravel lot at Youngs Memorial Cemetery. Follow the sidewalk up to the sanctuary. 

Flower Moon Hike

May 23, 2024 - Oyster Bay, NY

Celebrate the turn of spring under the Flower Moon. Let the full moon guide you through the Sanctuary trails. We'll hear about a traditional name for this moon and search for the signs of spring. We will start promptly at 7:30 pm. All ages are welcome. Please dress for the conditions. In the event of heavy rain or strong winds the event will be canceled, you will be notified at least 2 hours before.

Space will be limited and registration is required. Please email Roxana.Saravia@audubon.org for more information. 

Accessibility:

  • Public parking is shared with Young's Memorial Cemetery and located in gravel parking lot
  • Disability parking (2 spots) is located up center's driveway
  • Outdoor terrain ranges from asphalt/concrete to small stones and wood chips. The front garden area is ADA accessible. Terrain is can be uneven and not accessible by wheelchair past the fountain plaza.
